277 Covid-19 cases and 2 deaths in Qatar on Aug 15
Ministry announced two new deaths of people aged 75 and 81, who were receiving medical care.
All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status
The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 114,809 and there are 3112 active cases under treatment. So far, 192 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.
Ministry conducted 3767 tests in the last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 546285 tests. There are 49 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours.
Six patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care currently to 69.
While the restrictions of COVID-19 are gradually being lifted in Qatar, it is important for everyone to play their role in controlling the virus by following precautionary measures:
Adherence to physical distancing.
Avoid close contact with others, crowded places and confined closed spaces where other people congregate.
Wearing a face mask.
Washing hands regularly.
