Qatar Launches New Compulsory Education Platform for Parents to Register Children who are Outside the Educational System

Doha, Qatar – The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has introduced a new electronic platform (Compulsory Education Platform) aimed at helping parents address the status of children who are not currently registered in any formal educational system, whether within Qatar or abroad.

This platform requires parents to provide proof of their child’s enrollment in an educational institution, such as a proper Proof of Education, or to offer a legitimate reason for non-enrollment. Various options are available on the platform for parents to select the appropriate justification for their child’s current status.

In addition, the Ministry has emphasized that parents must ensure the accuracy of all data and documents submitted through the platform. Any discrepancies or false information may result in legal accountability for the parents.

This initiative is part of Qatar’s ongoing efforts to ensure that all children within the country receive proper education, with a streamlined system in place for both Qatari nationals and expatriates.
