DOHA: Within festivities of the Eid Al Fitr, the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) received a large number of visitors of different age groups and nationalities yesterday and Friday to celebrate this special occasion.

The visitors enjoyed a marvelous festival along the marine-way of Katara beach opposite to the amphitheatre starting from 9am till 9:30pm where gifts were distributed among visitors in an ambience of joy and happiness.

A musical show had a spectacular audience in two different timings, where the first show started at 8:30pm and the second show was at 9:15pm. The festivities will last for four days.
Katara’s General Manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaity said that Katara has prepared all the facilities to welcome in Eid celebrators like every year with a great diversity in the type of festivities it provides.

“We in Katara are very keen on making this occasion so special for everyone and leave unforgettable memories for them, especially the children,” he said, stressing special plans have been made to guarantee a smooth traffic flaw. He said there are more than 50 restaurants participating in the “Ghabga” yard apart from the embedded eateries at Katara with extra games for the children and adults at the beach.
