Doha: Weather charts indicate that the country skies may be affected by a state of instability due to the extension of low pressure over the region during the period between Friday, February 15 until Sunday, February 17.

Cloud amount expected to increase gradually tomorrow (Friday) with a chance of scattered light rain.

Chance of rain expected to improve on Saturday and Sunday with favorable conditions for scattered rain of variable intensity may thundery at times in some areas.

Northwesterly fresh to strong wind expected to start affecting the country on Sunday causing high waves ranging between 8 to 12 ft in all areas as well as a drop in temperatures with cold conditions expected at night and early morning.

Qatar Meteorology Department urged residents to be careful during thundery rain which is usually accompanied by sudden strong wind, avoid going to sea during the period between Saturday to Monday as well as to follow latest updates through its social media accounts.
