Everyone’s favourite noughties mobile phone, the Nokia 3310, is expected to make a comeback this year with manufacturer, HMD set to launch the Nokia 3320.
You can’t improve on perfection but the 3320 is expected to be smaller and more compact than the 3301 – and as long as Snake is still available fans will be happy. Here are six phones we also think could benefit from a relaunch too.
1.Motorola 8000
The original ‘brick’ has become a symbol of the 80s. After going on sale in 1983 in the US it was brought to British soil and launched on 1st January 1985 with the very first phone call being made by Ernie Wise.
2.Nokia 9000
introduced in 1996, this mobile phone computer is considered to be the first smartphone on the market.
3.Motorola StarTAC
The first ever clamshell/flip mobile phone, the Motorola StarTAC, was also launched in 1996 and approximately 60 million were sold.
4.Nokia 8210
The Nokia 8210 has no camera and limited memory but became a classic when first released in 1999.
5.Samsung D 500
This noughties slide phone was a consumer favourite when launched in 2004.
6.Motorola Razrv3i
Whether you had it in jet black or hot pink, the Motorola Razr v3i fast became one of the coolest phones on the playground in 2004.
