Qatar is all set to host the tenth Al Khor Fly-In next Friday and Saturday (February 10-11) in the Al Khor Airport.

People who have an interest for flying annually visit the event with their families, that also promises a day filled with fun.

The event is organised by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in collaboration with Qatar Flying Club, under the patronage of Minister of Transport and Communication, His Excellency Jassim Seif Ahmed Al Sulaiti.

It is sponsored by Qatar Airways and Ooredoo.

An orientation about the most recent aviation elements and concepts is given in the vent within an entertaining, educational and family-friendly atmosphere, as reported by The Peninsula.

The event will feature formation flying, aerobatic shows, paramotor shows, gyrocopter and light aircraft show, R-C models and free flying.

Moreover, there will also be contributions from local, regional and international flying clubs to enrich one of the most remarkable local entertainment events.

Children can enjoy special entertainment activities too during the event.

The aim of the event is to motivate and promote aviation as a sport and hobby to the youth and public.

As such, pilots from Qatar as well as other GCC countries will be participating in the event.
