The Embassy of the state of Qatar in Jordan has warned of news websites and accounts that promote incorrect and unauthorized links to apply for jobs in Doha.

This came in light of Doha’s announcement last week to provide 10,000 jobs for Jordanians.

The embassy said in a statement Monday that a joint committee between the government of the State of Qatar and the government of Jordan will be set up to consider procedures for receiving job applications and will be officially announced by the embassy in due course.

Qatar recently pledged to create 10,000 jobs for Jordanians in Doha, as well as invest $500 million in the kingdom hit by anti-austerity protests.
