DOHA: Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani visited yesterday a number of government services centres belonging to the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs and checked on the quality of services provided there.
The centres provide 274 types of services for nine government authorities in the morning and in the afternoon. They process a total of 6500 requests a day.
Afterwards, the Prime Minister and Interior Minister visited the Ministry of Administrative Development and was updated on its strategic plans for its different departments as well as its future projects. That was done during his tour of the different service departments and the committees of labour disputes in the Ministry. The Prime Minister was briefed on the services provided by the different departments and the procedures job seekers are required to follow when looking for job or other similar services. He also checked the reception and waiting area for the service-seekers.
The Prime Minister issued a directive for opening an office for the evidence and criminal info department in the Ministry, in order to facilitate for the citizens the process of obtaining a good conduct certificate required from those looking for jobs.
