Police Academy conducts counter-terrorism course for policewomen

Doha, Qatar: The Police Academy, represented by the Women’s Police Institute, concluded today a five-day anti-terrorism course for policewomen, organized in collaboration with the Spanish National Police.

The course included several female police officers and civilian employees from various departments of the Ministry of Interior. Its objective was to enhance readiness for various situations and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences, keeping participants updated with the latest developments in police work.

The course covered important topics such as the concept of cyberterrorism, its developmental stages, prevention methods, techniques used on social media platforms, and the risks and threats posed by cyberterrorism and cybercrime.

At the closing ceremony, attended by the President of the Police Academy, Brigadier General Abdul Rahman Majid Al Sulaiti, and the Director of the Women’s Police Institute, Lt. Col. Kholoud Anbar Al Nuaimi, certificates were awarded to the graduates, and the lecturers were honored.
