Mobile cameras to monitor your driving

Drive carefully and under speed limits, it is better for your health and finance. There will be mobile cameras to monitor your driving on different parts of Qatar.

If you are driving down Truck route, Umm Suneim, Salwa road and Shamal highway today (Monday, March 6), better follow the speed limits as there will be mobile cameras installed on these roads to track your speed.

Furthermore, the ministry also pointed out  that it will announce if there would be any other mobile cameras installed on other roads and streets in Qatar on its social media page.

It is pertinent to mention here that one mobile radar which looks like a trash bin in Dubai had caught 35,000 speeding violations on internal roads of Dubai.

The radar, which is placed in random locations, has sparked a debate on social media, with motorists complaining of getting speeding fines repeatedly, the report says.

Many people took to social media to complain of being fined by the radar.
