Embassy of India in Doha announced that the Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) in Qatar can now register for the second edition of Bharat Ko Janiye (Hindi for ‘Know India’) Quiz 2018-19.
Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz is open for Overseas Citizens of India and NRIs between 15 to 35 years. The last date to register for the quiz is July 5.
The initiative conducted by Indian Ministry of External affairs is conducted to motivate overseas youngsters to enhance their knowledge about their native country.
The four rounds of the quiz would touch upon topics such as Indian Art, Indian Democracy, Economy, Geography, Personalities in Music and Dance, Science and Technology, Languages and Literature, Education, Tradition of Indian Crafts, Indian Cinema and renowned personalities.
Top three winners of final round will receive gold, silver and bronze medals and certificates. Apart from that 10 top candidates from each category from the second round will be invited for 15-day Bharat Ko Janiye Yatra which will be an all-expense paid trip to places like Delhi, Agra, Lakshadweep and one State.
