Joint crackdown on street vendors in Doha Corniche

Doha: Doha Municipality along with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry launched a joint campaign against street vendors in Doha Corniche yesterday.
The campaign was conducted by the General Control Section of the Municipal Control Department and the General Cleanliness Department and Mechanical Equipment Department and Security authorities.
The campaign resulted in the seizure of a number of violators and confiscation of their products. The ministry will take necessary legal procedures against the offenders.
This joint campaign aims to eliminate the phenomenon of illegal street vendors causing violations of health rules and hygiene and damage to the environment.
