The General Directorate of Traffic confirmed that drivers who lost their car plates during recent rainfall can now replace their plates and pay the cost of the plate and installation fees, which will be taken into consideration for those with missing front plates, where no violation will be issued.

The General Directorate of Traffic highlighted the importance of rear car plates as they form the vehicles identity, also noting that in case the rear plate is lost, the driver must stop the car until it is replaced, or move the front plate and install it at the back of the car, as cars without a back plate will be apprehended until the plates are replaced.
