How To Renew Your Philippine Passport in Qatar

According Qatar’s Philippine Embassy, almost 10 % of Qatar’s population, which is approximately 1.8 million people comprised of Filipinos- the second to the most dominant Asian group living in Qatar.

Requirements for Passport Renewal
- The person who should renew his/her passport should personally come to the Philippines Embassy of Doha. Remember: Having an appointment is not needed for the renewal of your passport. All you need to do is just show up with the necessary requirements to make sure that you’ll have a smooth flow of renewing your passports.
- For all minors, (persons whose age range from 18 years old and below), the personal appearance of your parents or legal guardian is required. Also, the legal guardian should also submit a photocopy of his/her passport as an authentication.
- A duly accomplished ePassport Application form that will also serve as your renewal form is needed as part of your renewal process.
- A photocopy of your passport.
- You’re also advised to wear an appropriate attire since you’ll be taken a passport photo at the Embassy.
- The fee for the E-Passport is QAR 240.00
What are the processes during the renewal of passport?
The Applicant should first go to the passport Processing Area.
Then he/she should proceed to the Cashier to pay for the E-Passport, which again costs QAR 240.00
After that they will be asked certain information about themselves and have their picture taken in the Passport Encoding Area.
Lastly, the Applicant can now proceed to the Releasing Section to be informed about the date of released of his/her renewed passport.
How many days to renew Philippines Passport in Qatar?
According to the website of Embassy of Qatar in Philippines, every Filipino in Qatar is advised to do their renewal of their passports 6 months before its expiration since it will take around twenty (20) working days or 1 month or around 45 days before the passport release.
