Al Rayyan Municipality Health Section has intensified its inspection tours at the various eateries, meat and fish shops and other food outlets within its jurisdiction as part of the preparations for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan. The campaigns were conducted using the e-inspection system recently developed in co-operation and co-ordination with the various departments of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, and with constant follow-up from the office of HE the Minister. The inspection tours resulted in issuing a number of violation reports to some outlets for violating the food health regulations. Two public kitchens were closed for 15 days for the same reasons. Such campaigns would go on throughout the upcoming period and during Ramadan.
