Qatar leads the technical meeting of the GCC Police Sports Federations
Doha: On Monday, the State of Qatar chaired the fifth meeting of the permanent technical team for unified championships and sports competitions of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Police Sports Federations. The meeting was conducted via videoconferencing.
The session was led by Major Abdullah Khamis Al Hamad, General Secretary of the Qatar Police Sports Federation, with the Qatari delegation headed by First Lieutenant Ali Mohammed Al Sabaa, a member of the federation’s board of directors.
During the meeting, participants discussed the regulatory and technical guidelines for the upcoming third GCC police cross-country championship. They reviewed the sports activity plan of the GCC police sports federations, aiming to leverage shared experiences and develop a strategy from a technical perspective to support the federations’ objectives and operations. Additionally, the meeting included presentations on best practices and experiences in police sports from member states.
