Doha: The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs has taken action against five companies for violating the preventive and precautionary measures which were announced during the reopening of the Industrial Area.

The actions were taken during the inspection campaigns by the Ministry in coordination with the authorities concerned at the Industrial Area, said the Ministry on its website.

Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs asked companies to comply labor law, ministerial decisions and the ministry policies regarding the measures which are required from the companies to follow to curb the spread of COVID-19 to avoid legal actions.

The Ministry asked the people to call on hotline No 40280660 if they come across any violation related to the safety of workers at workplace and accommodation.
