Qatar Football Association on its Twitter account said that the team will be given a heroes reception at the Corniche today.

This was in reply to a query by the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy from their twitter account @roadto2022 about the time when the team will be arriving.

QFA replied in Arabic that roughly translates to, “We are waiting to welcome the champions at Doha Corniche on Saturday from 6:15.”

According to sources, the team is expected to arrive at the airport at 3:30-4pm.

MOI in a message informed the residents that for the reception of the Qatar national team at Doha Corniche at 5:30 pm, MOI would secure the roads enroute.

Bike riders group are gearing up as well to be part of the Champions entourage and celebrate with them from the Old Amiri Airport to Corniche and then ahead to Sheraton.
