Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) held an introductory meeting today, June 27, for school students joining the first summer environment club, which will take place from June 30 to July 18.
MoECC’s Director of Public Relations and Communication Department, Mohammed Ahmed Al Dhahi, discussed the club’s vision and objectives, indicating that its goal is to deepen environmental awareness among young people, instill a culture of environmental sustainability, and introduce the Qatari environment in its marine and terrestrial aspects.
He explained that the program features workshops and lectures by the Ministry’s experts, along with various external visits. These activities aim to familiarize young people with local plants in their natural habitats and promote the goals of sustainable environmental development in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.
