Sheehaniya Municipality holds 116 inspection campaigns on food outlets

Doha: The Health Monitoring Department at of Sheehaniya Municipality carried out 116 inspection campaigns on food outlets in March.

The veterinary doctors inspected 1,137 slaughtered animals and destroyed 17 animals for being unfit for human consumption. A total of 10 samples were sent to the laboratory to verify whether they were fit for human consumption.

Meanwhile, Al Shamal Municipality, represented by General Monitoring Department, conducted an inspection campaign on abandoned vehicles and equipment in the municipal area in March.

A total of nine abandoned vehicles and boats were removed in the action. The owners took out 14 abandoned cars, 7 boats and 4 portacabins after issuance of violating stickers. The  General Monitoring Department issued 52 tickets of violations to abandoned vehicles and equipment.

Al Gharafa office of Al Rayyan Municipality carried out 56 inspection campaigns throughout the municipality. A total of six violation were recorded during the campaign.

The officials made six reconciliations.
