In the context of the preventive and precautionary measures taken by Qatar to limit the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) and in the interest of the safety of all citizens and residents, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has decided to temporarily close all restaurants, cafes and food outlets and vendors in certain areas of the country.
In a tweet on its official account, the ministry announced that outlets and mobile vendors in Sports Clubs, Lusail City Corniche, Doha Corniche, Al Khor Corniche and Aspire Park will be closed from Sunday, March 22.
The Ministry confirmed that any breaches of this decision will bring its perpetrators to legal accountability.
The decision implementation will begin on March 22, 2020.
