Qatar has been re-elected to the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization
Rabat: The State of Qatar has secured membership in the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization after the General Assembly agreed to re-elect the entire council.
This decision was made during the 28th regular session of the General Assembly of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, held on Wednesday in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.
The State of Qatar, represented by the General Authority of Civil Aviation, participated in the General Assembly’s proceedings with a delegation led by Mohammed bin Faleh Al Hajri, who manages the work of the General Authority of Civil Aviation.
Mohammed bin Faleh Al Hajri expressed his pleasure at Qatar’s re-election to the Executive Council, highlighting that this reflects member states’ confidence in Qatar’s leading role in developing the aviation industry in the Arab world and its significant efforts in fostering joint Arab action to advance this vital sector.
The General Assembly’s work included discussions on various topics related to navigation, air safety, and aviation security.
