Ministry closes retail store for violating precautionary measures

Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry closed a retail outlet at Barwa Village for a period of 15 days for violation of the circular issued by the Ministry as precautionary measures to counter the outbreak of coronavirus.
Ministry said in a statement that the action was taken against Centrepoint at Barwa Village in Al Wakra, as they violated precautionary measures issued by the ministry earlier to curb the spread of Covid-19.
The ministry added that the shop violated the circular from the Ministry to close retail stores in malls and shopping centers as precautionary measures to counter the coronavirus and maintain public health.
