If you are looking to stay in a luxury hotel in Doha, Ramadan is the best time to do it!

If you’ve always wanted to get a taste of luxury living in Qatar, without really burning a hole in your pocket trying to do so, then the Holy Month of Ramadan is the best time to get your fix.

With the Holy Month right around the corner, most hotels and resorts in Qatar have announced attractive packages to make the most of the domestic market.

“We want to give the best-ever offer for Ramadan this year and we’re expecting good response from locals and expatriates,” an official with a five-star hotel was quoted as saying by Qatar Tribune.

The Oryx Rotana hotel recently launched a unique offer that allows all guests with a valid Qatari ID to stay with them during weekends for a competitive price of QR350 per night. There are also discounted rates on its Spa centres, health and fitness clubs, and food and beverage outlets.

Concorde Hotel’s General Manager Mashour Refai was hopeful of generating good revenues during Ramadan season.

“This is the first Ramadan after the unjust blockade was imposed on the country and we’re convinced that the local population will show the same support and solidarity to the hospitality sector it showed last year,” he was quoted as saying by Qatar Tribune.

Since most people will not be travelling to neighbouring countries this year, hotels in the country are expecting great revenues this year.

City Centre Rotana Doha has promised to upgrade all room reservations for Rotana Rewards Exclusive members to the suites when reserving two nights. There will also be an additional discount of 50% in the hotel’s outlets for four people, including suhours and iftars.

Special rates for iftar and sohour

Banana Island resort will offer iftar priced at QR250 per adult and QR125 per child (five to 10 years) for non-resident guests; and QR220 per adult and QR110 per child for resident guests.

Grand Hyatt Doha will be offering iftar for QR220 per person while its suhour is priced at QR110.

The Al Aziziyah Boutique Hotel will offer iftar for QR170, including Ramadan beverages. The hotel is also offering a special price of QR150 per person for a group of five people. Similarly, for suhour the hotel is offering a special a la carte menu, in a Ghabga dinner, majlis style.

The Ritz Carlton will offer iftar and suhoor priced at QR220 per person, inclusive of Ramadan juices buffet. In addition, the offer gives 50% discount for children aged six to 12 years while children under the age of five will have complimentary iftar and suhour.

The Plaza Inn Doha Hotel is offering iftar for QR125 per person and QR60 for the suhour.
