Doha: In its weather forecast for the weekend, Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said it will be very hot with some clouds during daytime and slight dust to blowing dust at places at times.

On Friday, QMD also warned about strong wind inshore during the day accompanied with high sea heights, offshore, in the evening. On Saturday, hot daytime with scattered clouds and slight dust at some places at times, is expected.

The minimum and maximum temperatures for the next two days will vary between 34 degrees Celsius and 44 degrees Celsius respectively.

On Friday, the wind is expected to blow northwesterly at 12 KT to 22 KT gusting to 27 KT on places inshore and is expected to fall to 5KT to 15 KT offshore by evening.

On Saturday, the wind is expected to blow northwesterly to northeasterly at 8KT to 18 KT and may reach 22KT at times.

Sea heights on Friday will vary from 2-4ft and will fall to 1-3ft by evening inshore. For offshore, sea heights will be 3-7ft and will fall to 2-4ft by evening.

On Saturday, sea heights will vary from 1-3ft or 4ft inshore and 2-4ft or 6ft offshore.

Visibility will be 4 kilometers to 8 kilometers, or 3 kilometeres or less at places at times on Friday.
