HH the Amir yesterday issued law on Unified Economic Register
Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued Law No. 14 of 2018 on the Unified Economic Register.
The Law characterizes the Unified Economic Register as a record in which monetary endeavors and independently employed people are enrolled, and the financial foundation as an individual venture or organization or substance occupied with any territory of the financial segment.
Under the arrangements of the law, a Unified Economic Register will be set up inside the Ministry of Economy and Commerce in which the accompanying are enlisted: Qatari financial foundations and their branches and parts of non-Qatari foundations working in the nation; those authorized to hone independent work.
A number called “Brought together Economic Number” will be issued for any individual enlisted in the Unified Economic Register and will be utilized in all exchanges and papers identifying with his movement.
The skilled branch of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce will decide the component for directing the Unified Economic Register and the methods for enlistment and stamping in that. The law is powerful and is to be distributed in the official journal.
