Ministry of Public Health today recorded 297 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 271 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 109,709.

Ministry announced two new deaths of people aged 23 and 57, who were receiving medical care.

All new cases have been placed in isolation and are receiving necessary health care according to their health status.

The total number of positive COVID-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 112947 and there are 3054 active cases under treatment. So far, 184 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar.

Ministry conducted 3535 tests in the last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far to 520360 tests. There are 54 cases of hospital admissions in the last 24 hours.

Four patients were admitted to intensive care due to health complications resulting from infection with the virus, bringing the total number of cases receiving medical care in intensive care currently to 80.
