DOHA: To make it easy for individuals and companies to complete their National Address registration, many MoI services centres will be working during the weekend, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said.

The MoI said that about ten MoI Qatar Services Centres will work during this weekend (Friday and Saturday, July 24–25, 2020).

As deadline for the National Address registration ends on Sunday “Some of the MoI Qatar Services Centers will be working this weekend from 8 AM to 12 Noon to make it easy for the individuals and companies to complete their National Address registration,” the Ministry said on its official Twitter account today.

The MoI centres which will be open during this weekend are Mesaimeer, Al Wakra, Al Rayyan, Industrial Area, Onaiza, Al Shahaniya, Al Daayen, Al Khor, Shamal and Um Salal.

There is a fine of QR10,000 for entering false information in the form, in addition to a fine for not registering the address during the 6-month period. The fine can be reconciled to QR5,000 before reaching the court.

The registration of National Address will be compulsory and required before people can access several other government services. The National Address data include one’s residence address in Qatar, landline and mobile phone numbers, e-mail address, and work address for those who work in government or private sector.
