Secondary school certificate control centers working smoothly
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi made an inspection visit yesterday to the secondary school certificate control centers at Sumaya and Hafsa schools for girls.
Director of Student Evaluation Department, Khalifa Al Dirham, briefed the Undersecretary about the various stages that the grading process goes through, starting with the procedures for handing over and receiving answer sheet boxes from school examination committees, examining and preparing papers, then assessing grades (correction) and reviewing them to ensure that student obtain the marks they deserve,
Assistant Director of the Student Evaluation Department, Iman Al Muhannadi, also explained the procedures in the control committees, said the Ministry in a statement.
Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi got acquainted with the precautionary measures applied inside the control centers for the safety of the employees and to limit the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.
Two separate buildings were allocated to the high school certificate control centers for the first time to ensure safe distance between the staffs, so that the precautionary measures are applied with the utmost accuracy, from measuring temperatures of employee, sterilization and adherence to wearing masks and gloves, and using Ehteraz app.
All supervisors and employees in these committees praised the extent of cooperation by the members of the control committees, in term of implementing preventive and precautionary measures to curb the spread of coronavirus.
qAt the end of the visit, Dr. Ibrahim Al Nuaimi praised preparation and organisation, and thanked the General Secondary Control employees for their efforts.
